Question 1 was the trickiest for me and therefore, I left this question till last. I found the 'use' easy to answer, however, at times I found 'develop' and 'challenge' was hard to answer. 

I have now completed this question.

Question 3 is now completed. The feedback received was given during school hours which I wrote down and then presented it on a slide show.

I also asked some of the viewers to complete an evaluation sheet.

I finished question 4 on Wednesday 28th March, however, decided to post it now as all the evaluation questions will be together. This question was completed first, as it was the easiest question.

My group and I have now finished editing the music video. My research and planning and ancillary texts is also finished. I therefore have the four evaluation questions left which I hope to finish by Friday 6th April 2012.

Today we did a re-shoot for the chorus scene. We changed the scene from the bedroom to a living room and table area (doing work) as we thought this scenery looked better.

After getting some feedback its clear we need to change some stuff on our ancillary text such as the colours and typography. These are the current ancillary texts :

Today we tried to re-film the opening scene, today proved to be more successful, however, will give it one more shot on Monday 26th March.

Today we filmed the opening scene, however, we found this difficult so may have to change this from what is stated on the storyboard.

Today we did the scenes for chorus and last verse. At first we thought the filming went well, however, once uploaded we believe the chorus can be sung better and instead of her in her room we may change the scene around a bit. We will keep the filming for the last verse.

Today I started creating the CD front cover on Photoshop. I referred back to the drawings which were drawn during the planning and research stage. I was able to use ideas from the Magazine advert during the production of this cover. For example, the picture and use of brushes.

Today I started creating the magazine advert on Photoshop. I referred back to the drawings which were drawn during the planning and research stage. Although these drawings were useful I found I had to think outside the box in order to make the magazine advert look realistic and appealing.

Rejected pictures for CD and Magazine advert

This picture was rejected as Soraya is smiling, and we'd like her to have more of a sad emotion  in order to fit to the mood of the song. 

This picture was rejected as it clear Soraya was not ready for the shot.

This picture was rejected as Soraya is not standing in the position we'd like her to be standing for the magazine advert. 

This picture was rejected as Soraya is looking too down making it out as if her eyes are closed.

After viewing the pictures after today's re-shoot, Samantha and I believe the pictures taken today are better and therefore will be using these. Once we get back to school we will show our fellow group member (Jaymini) so she is able to see the difference between the initial shoot and re-shoot.

As the school scene was proving to be difficult because of the busy environment and lighting, as a group we made the decision to change the scene to a park scene.
Today we did a re-shoot for the canal scene - as some of the pictures were blurry and shot the park scene.
